I have been painting and drawing since childhood. Over the years I have developed a unique process for my work:

Most often I use a combination of watercolor, gesso, acrylic paint, acrylic gloss coat, permanent marker, iridescent or metallic powder pigment, and gold leaf on watercolor paper.

Each piece evolves as I layer these elements one on top of the other. In this way I am able to realize more depth and vibrancy than any single material could achieve. It is my ultimate goal to capture and communicate the beauty of the natural world through my work.
