About the Artist
Athena Hagen is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tucson, Arizona.
Her masks, costumes, wigs, and makeup designs have been seen on the stages of such acclaimed regional theatres as the Arizona Theatre Company, Geva Theatre Center, and the Guthrie Theater.
Hagen has also worked extensively within the realm of alternative and street theatre and has been involved in Tucson’s annual All Souls Procession for many years.
Her most recent work centers on creative education and the use of Storytelling as means of fostering cross-cultural kinship.
